We have two(2) HP4250's and one(1) HP5500C printing from filepro and SCO 
Unix. We do have them hooked to a network, which is my personally 
preferred method of hooking up printers. Results are excellent 
throughput and high reliability. I suspect that using the parallel 
interface will cause slower throughput, but I haven;t tried it.
