Opensource filePro Project

Is there room for a filePro based Open-Source Project?

Could fp-Tech make more money by joining the Open-Source community and serving
as a pilot company than as is now?

If filePro were Open-Source, how large would you estimate its community to be?
Compare that to what it is now!

If I owned fp-Tech, I would approach companies like Red-Hat and try to work a
deal where filePro would be delivered with every copy of Red-Hat. Possibly do
same for any Linux flavor out there.

How old is Ken and how long is he planning on carrying the filePro development?
What if he decided he had enough and retired, who can carry his torch and keep
filePro alive? Am I mistaken to believe that "he is it"?

I do not think I have ever heard of a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or a list of developers
responsible for the code behind filePro. Is there such a team? If so, whoam
are they? Where are they?
