Use "start /min", as this will not switch back to GUI.

(And Laura has a client who replaced their ancient MS-DOS filePro system a
few years ago with XP boxes and a new filePro.  Not only did the owner want
filePro to run full-screen on her 19" monitor, she also wanted the colors
turned off, so it looked just like her old system.)
