I've had some problems with the Linksys BEFVP41 VPN boxes, mainly that they
seem to get tired and die after a year or so. I always carry a spare.

I have a Linksys WRT150N here that's used only for wireless. It's a lot
better than the almost 5-year old Netgear, but there are still occassions
when the signal level drops way down between it and my Titanium Powerbook
with a PCMCIA wireless 802.11n (about 35 feet from the WAP on the same
floor with now metal doors or insulation between them).

Speed costs money! How fast do you want to go?

Good, Fast, Cheap, pick two.
