Lookup matching problem

Didn't he say:
"My lookup looks like this:    lookup new = (fn)  k=ky  i=A -nx"

So if he did not have a
	If: not new
	Then: end or go somewhere else
He would have gotten an error if he did any comparison using new(1), I would
think.
If it is not due to index A needing to be rebuilt, it is a very strange
situation indeed.
One I have never seen, I might add.
