ddir on files with passwords...

Mike,

We used to >keyLmth and copy a set of index.A  etc. files that we saved as start 
indexes when the file was blank back.  Of course, you can rebuild just as easy 
with a blank file.

What about just purging all the records with an output process?  Do it in 
reverse record number order and they will add from 1 to whatever...
