    Actually, you probably did see "alien file" used.  I just found out a
few minutes ago that "alias file" is right in filePro's own glossary:

    However, I find that my filePro students get "alien file" confused with
"aliasing a file", so I always teach them to say "non-filePro file" or
"external data source".
