Believe that, and I have a bridge to sell.

RHEL3 is a bit out of date :-)
Perl is one of the many things we use from OpenPKG, along with
python, apache, postfix, et al, so I don't care if the vendor's
implementation or CPAN modules are out of date.
Perl and CPAN modules were one of the major factors that I fought
back in the Caldera days as they rarely kept the CPAN modules
current, and it was a bitch to keep current, and the vendor's
updates would usually either fail because of my modifications or
break mine.
