| Hi all:
|
| What is the easiest way currently to send fax and email from filePro on a SCO Unix platform? I have a client who has been using Visifax for this for many years, but it has recently developed problems and I don't know anything about Visifax and don't really want to know, so I am considering recommending that they switch to Print Wizard on a network PC, which is a product that is easy to use and that I am very familiar and comfortable with. My impression of Visifax is that it is not much used any more, but I admit that I have made no effort to keep current on it's status.
|
| Or is there some other technique or product that we should consider?

If you can send mail from a shell prompt, meaning your networking is
properly set uop, then nothing special is required to do so out of
filePro, just use the mail|mutt|elm|pine or whater you prefer in a
filePro system command.

As for faxing, Hylafax does the job for me and my clients.
