     The saving grace here is that there probably aren't any places
where I would have set a non-filePro variable to something like ??NODEF
or ??VER before launching filePro.  I'm not going to go back through all
25+ years of fP systems that I've set up in order to look for it,
either, but this is interesting to know, so that I can watch for it.
Maybe I WILL find someplace where it is burning me and I couldn't figure
it out, but for right now, all of my customers are humming merrily
along.

I agree with Mike that since it is limited to variables set in the fp
config file, it's had limited negative effects therefor nobody has
noticed it.  Now if someone tells me it is responding to stuff set in
the enviorment in that strange way that would be terrifying.
