So it's only dxmaint giving you problems?
What are the permissions on dxmaint? (They should be "-rwsr-xr-x", also
known as "4755", and owned by "filepro".)
Or by "create a new file" above, you're now talking about ddefine? Did
the "/hd1/appl/filepro/ces60" directory get created? What permissions
and ownership are on that directory? What are the permissions/ownership
on all directories from "/" down to "/hd1/appl/filepro/ces60"?
