On WINDOWS and UNIX, the crazy thing is like this:
Enter the variable with % signs like on Windows.

Menu Version: %MOSV%

if you did:

MOSV="12345" ; export MOSV

it would display 12345

ON windows, set MOSV=12345

Not sure why but I could guess.
