OT: hylafax on remote server

The only reason I can think of that requires kernel relinks relates to
using devices other than /dev/tty1A or /dev/tty2A for modems.

When I was running HylaFAX on OpenServerI ran multiple modems on Specialix
multi-serial boards without any problems.  HylaFAX was still called Flexfax
back then, and I think we were hosting the flexfax mailing list then.
