I think you are in no-man's land unfortunately.
If you were using samba, or better yet if you were using linux directly
(1000% better) there would be quite a bit of experience and expertise to
draw on. Not just here but everywhere.
Even in the world of netware emulation, there has been a form of netware
emulation in linux since ages ago (MARS/NWE) that, while almost no one uses
that either (probably no one here btw), at least just because of the fact
that it's been there forever you have some shot at googling some tips &
hints. It only emulates simpler/older versions of netware, 3.x at the latest
I think, so if you actually need features from newer netware then that might
be why this was your only option.
Whatever salesperson sold on this idea, I think just about all support will
have to come from them, make them answer for putting you in such a position.
