OT: Have You Noticed Something Similar

I started this thread on a Monday morning when I had little else
to do, and was surprised by having only 8 emails in my spam box,
following several days of decreasing spams.

I ended my post with what turned out to be a vain hope.  The next
day the number was back up to its usual count, and remains so.
