Thanks Mark. All good questions. Didn't think of potential XP/Vista
conflicts. I have a law firm client using WordPerfect; one Vista client,
all the others XP Pro. Whenever he browses the network from WP on the Vista
machine it crashes and reboots. No problems with browsing the Vista local
drive and no problems with the other XP clients.
I wonder what the technical differences are between imaging/ghosting
applications and syncing applications. I'll look for some technical reviews
and then make that phone call to Seagate.
Any thoughts on using an NAS vs. this type of device?
