Thin Clients and filePro

Well, we use a very old outdated ThinTerm which I can still buy new and
refurbished for about $140. $165 with wireless cards. It looks ansi
perfect, colors, function keys, everything. The model we use is Wyse 3125.

We rarely, almost never use the Windows portion of this device. It has a
full windows (ME I think) screen for configuration with mouse, etc. We don't
use the mouse, just the keyboard and a "scoansi" terminal emulator which is
built-in. To switch to say running the Internet, you have to switch into a
different mode and lose (for the moment) the scoansi emulation.

Yes, some specific, probably very small, third party apps can be loaded
somehow into the runtime environment of this thing... but I've never done
it.
