a LONG while back i reported this as a bug - fpcopy when run as a non-root
user would give that error on 5.0.something

for you to get by today, i'd suggest running as root if you are not
already.

that is a field in a menu that really doesn't mean anything.

if PFVER is set to ON, fpcopy should show its own version number in top
right corner.
