Sound Ideas banned from filePro conference

I can appreciate Bud's position in attempting to protect his product and I
think he has shown that he is opening the door. We must give him credit for
that.
Bob's point was well put in the subtleties attributed to the reasons for Bud
to embrace a product such as reface or any other Sound Idea product. It
allows filePro users to remain competitive in the 21st Century. Without
products such as Sound Ideas many of us would be on a different platform
today. His product and others like it (such as Anzio) have kept us in the
fold and allowed filePro to continue to exist.
It is unfortunate in that filePro could be flourishing. For example, I
offered filePro the opportunity to bid on offering the New York court system
their platform to do what they are essentially doing in Ohio. They did not
have much interest.
These types of opportunities could solidify filePro as a real player. It
depends upon resources available and I understand that filePro's is limited.
That presents a more compelling reason to have filePro investigate any
product that can be effectively used in conjunction with filePro. We are
constantly investigating new opportunities that could be of use in
conjunction with filePro. We use a number of outside programs that interact
with filePro. They have become an integral part of our survival in
maintaining a competitive edge.
