Most of the real work is done in the APIserver which is written only
once in 'C'.

Even the Mobile client is really only one system implemented in two very
similar languages on two different virtual machines.The reason for both
Windows Mobile and Java Mobile Clients has to do with the making the
best use of the limited resources, capabilities, and standard software
of different PocketPCs and Smartphones.  The differences between Java
and C# are relatively simple to accommodate.
