Generally using ssh and xterm using one of these commands which
may depend on the speed of the connection (both require X11 be
running -- which has some issues on the new Leopard systems).

xterm -e ssh user at targetsystem &

ssh -f user at targetsystem xterm -e mymenu

The first command runs the xterm locally while the second runs it
on the remote system.
