| Unless you are in read-only mode, filePro opens the key/data/index
| files for read/write mode. (All automatic indexes are opened, not
| just the "active" one.)
That's the way (opened -all- automatic indexes) I -thought- I had
remembered it, but not so on filePro 5.6.06 on SCO OSR6.
I entered the filePro file "fpcust" via "index.A" using dclerk and
sat at the first record found when I pressed [Enter] at the prompt
to enter a value to be searched for. On exiting, a listing of the
pertinent files showed:
-rw------- 1 filepro group 0 Dec 7 1992 data
-rw------- 1 filepro group 2048 May 22 11:18 index.B
-rw------- 1 filepro group 2048 May 23 12:28 index.A
-rw------- 1 filepro group 1785 Feb 12 12:47 key
