System "wget"command

Just guessing . . .

What if you add:

  >/dev/null 2>&1

to the end of your 'wget' command ???

| Unix mechanism kicking in to splash the screen.

|      The video commands do redraw the screen, of course.  However, they
| "write over the top" of the wget stuff, leaving chunks of the wget command
| showing in the "blank" spots on the screen.

|      I tried a CLS and then the VIDEO SYNC.  That gets rid of all of the
| wget stuff, but the CLS also wipes out most of the fields that are supposed
| to display on the screen, so the video sync only redraws a few things.
