Can I get a DeskJet 842C to sign a letter from filePro?

One of my clients wants me to make their filePro report (a full page,
single page letter) contain a digitized signature -- in blue ink.

I have -- once -- included a bitmap image in a filePro report; it was a
logo, and I don't recall *how* I translated it into an image file
format that I could include from a print code, but I remember it was a
cast iron sonuvabitch to get done.

It was 5 years ago, which is the other reason I don't remember.

Do the DeskJets speak PCL? A version new enough to include a color
image? (Or, I guess, to take a monochrome bitmap and render it in a
specified color?)

I have the rest of the week to figure this out, but with Jim Asman and
a couple others monitoring the list, I figured this would be the best
first place to ask.

Cheers,
