What should I look out for when upgrading?

Indexes, as Nancy says, very important.
Depends on which install you do ... as to how it upgrades. Do you want any
new edits, printer defs, etc. (Don't know that there are any.)  The only
thing I would do is copy my global edits file somewhere safe before the
upgrade.The rest is totally seamless.

I *know* you don't need to hear this. I mean you are quite obviously a
sophisticated system administartor... but you can get bit by not making sure
that there aren't any fp executables running when you do the install. It is
certainly worth doing thorough ps's for dreport, dclerk, rreport, rclerk,
dxmaint, ddefine, etc.... just to make sure no one is running anything down
inthe shipping department, etc. If an executable is in memory at the time of
your install, I do not believe you will end up with the 5.6 version of that
program. I'm not even sure if the install puts up an error in this
circumstance, or if it does, that it would be visible in the rush of things
that appear on the screen. Any case, something to watch outfor...
