I had the same thing happen a number of times but with PayPal and M & T
bank. Ignore it. It boils down to this: if you didn't iniate it don't
repond. If it is real, they may call or write.

Subject: OT: phony ipod order scam

Warning:

My wife received an emailed order acknowledgement for an Apple Ipod ordered
yesterday. She called me to ask if I had ordered her an Ipod. I hadn't.

I called Apple after getting the phone # from their web-site. I was advised
that this was a scam which they are looking into.

They said to avoid clicking on any of the links and to delete the email.

Just some observations about this order.

	1. No shipping address
	2. No payment method

The phone # given is not, as far as I can tell, the Apple store's actual 800
number.
