The lack of response to my earlier email leads me to believe that this is
not doable. I thought I had read on the list (a while back) that some one
had found a way to use filePro of a PDA.
Am I correct?
Thanks

I can send you some threads about using filePro on the clamshell style
PDAs, like a few Psion models or the NEC Mobilepro 800 or 900 series. As I
recall, NEC no longer sells Mobilepro units, but you can buy brand new
900c's at:
http://www.usedhandhelds.com/
Unfortunately, these units required a DOS emulator and an older DOS
version of dclerk, like version 4.0 or 4.1 filePro.
The only other way I've run filePro on my IPAQ 3900 PDA is through
Windows Remote Desktop, but that requires me to have an 802.11 connection to
my Windows server.
I don't recall that anybody ever ran filePro on a Palm Trio unit. Let
me know if you want more info on the first two projects, though...
