;-) right back and I thought I would get a better and quicker feedback 
on things that might cause this.  Someone else might have seen it.

And I would hazard as guess that it is not a "never can happen" feature, 
since it truly did happen.



The xxx(1) field has a local edit defined and is 15 characters long. 
The edit does not exist in the file I am in, but I do not care about 
that.  I just want the data.

I have tried different names for the lookups and variables to insure it 
was not a conflict.

I am going to put the edit in the live file.

BTW - someone asked if it was clerk or report, it is clerk that I am 
using for this.
