Don't be slapping down P3's. I dare say my dual 1.1Ghz with a decent Nvidia card 
  and 768 Meg of memory still runs faster any new XP computer I've used in 
years. And it's insane to watch it run Linux with the XGL eye candy turned up.

However, I am lusting over getting or building one of them new dual quad core 
boxen. I could've eaten up a seti at home packet in minutes if we still were 
looking for space-a-men.
