Interesting that you should mention that. Vista has a new API for 
magnification, by which a program can invoke a magnifier with 
program-supplied parameters. I haven't played with it yet, but thought it 
might be a good added feature for Anzio.

Of course several versions of Windows have had a magnifier application in 
the Accessibility section, which dedicated a portion of the screen to a 
magnified version of the part of the screen that the mouse is on. 

Screen magnification becomes more important with the smaller screens that 
are arriving in the Ultra Mobile PC, the Suny UX line, etc. The UX has a 
nice non-OS magnifier. This unit works quite well with Anzio and filePro.

(Side note on the UX. I just looked at Sony's site. They have a new 
Premium version that has 32 gig of flash memory, instead of a diskdrive. 
Interesting trend...)
