Here's the Apache Foundation, and it's still basically proof of concept after 5 
years. Argh!!!

Heck we should be able to print directly to anything.

If a tool was smart enough to interact with the OS and deal with things as 
complicated as serial printing on a 1 Mhz processor, why in 10 years and 3000 
times powerful systems, why can't they stand up and give us what we need.

I blame MS$. Innovation is completely dead. Apple builds beautiful computers, 
like the finest European supercars. But at the end of the day, they're still gas 
burning, 4 wheeled vehicles that anyone born in the last 80 years could drive 
because nothing has really changed.

What happened to the flying cars that ran on cold-water fusion?
