Is this Windows or *nix?
You can clean up the key, data, and indexes with:
/appl/fp/ddir filename -K -M qualifier
Sounds to me like the applications is creating a qualifier in this file
for each user.
If you did not write this, you may have some investigating to do.
Need more information about the OS, the file, and the function of the
file that gets these extra keys etc.
