I would say so.  It looks like you have a duplicable
scenario that gives these errors when it should not.
Perhaps filepro is releasing the -p protection on a
previous lookup when you do a free record lookup to
the same file with a different alias, and then write
to it.

Have you tried the same processing on a different
machine?
