Richard,

Yes, sorry, wasn't sure when I sent the note... but it is Ericom. Like I
said, I believe they have an office or at least a support number in
Hackensack, NJ :-) They have good support and their product does work
explicitly well with filePro and *nix... I've done both SCO and Redhat with
it.

  John,

Is that by Ericom Software Inc.?

Paying for a good product is never a problem. Let me know if this is the
correct vendor.

  Thanks,

If you are of the Linux ilk that feels everything should be free and
cost nothing... I can't help... the putty thing is probably your best bet...
but, if you want vbalue for $$ paid, do yourself a favor and invest in
PowerTerm for the Mac. It works filePro essentially perfectly. It is pricey
though... comes from Israel I think... or Hackensack, NJ.

Has anyone used a telnet or ssh session from a MAC to access filepro
running on a Red Hat Linux server?

Any issues? Any ssh programs that might work well for this purpose?

I haven't tried it yet, but I do need to get this done very soon.
