PC's and net connections should come with licenses simple as that.
Suppose she thought you attacked her machine with a virus just because one
came in via email with your name on it, and further suppose she was able to
use one of those nice effortless blogging sites or web forums to pulicise
this fantasy to a large group of equally clueless and gullible friends...
Actually never mind, It's like Jerry Springer said about his guests one time
in a monologue at the end of the show,
(maybe he says this all the time I dunno) which basically amounted to "Yes
they're idiots, but how boring would our lives be without them around?"
Also, I prefer the net to remain 'wild west'. As they start applying rules
to it, it will go down the tubes and become useless. So, no licenses.
