Timing out a filepro session in bash

I've found that setting TMOUT=0 in the .profile or .bash_login is helpful.
Other ssh timeouts are generally NAT related and independent of the TMOUT
environment variable.

My usual problem is connections timing out when I don't want them to, not
getting a connection to time out on inactivity.
