Keeping library code helps. *pats backup of recent code* :)

How many here are interested in a follow-on article on fP/OneGate/AJAX
that -does- give you the source code and a breakdown of how it all fits
together. The last article on this gave the flow and overview but didn't
illustrate code examples (intentionally).

I have a release to show the actual code I used in the demos in the video
that was linked from that article. I've been toying with the idea of doing
a more explicit article that really analyses how it's done, step by step.
Especially since I've had to do it twice over the phone now anyway. :) :)
It's just a matter of knowing if there's enough interest to justify
documenting it more thoroughly.

Bear in mind that Bruce's solution, while it takes the pain out of
this with a -lot- of high-level RAD functionality--I believe Bruce
indicated to me that there is customisation allowed for even on the AJAX
segments, so looking at both high-level and low-level are -not- mutually
exclusive, here. (Correct me if I'm wrong about what you were telling me,
Bruce...although the "AJAX custom functions" line in your breakdown seems
to support what I remember talking about with you.)

So one can do a lot with a high-level solution in RAD terms, and customise
it in key areas with low-level custom code. I'd call that complimentary.
Although one might never -need- to go low-level in that scenario, the
potential exists, if I'm understanding you correctly.

Which I saw portions of about five months back, give or take, and it was
enough to impress me. That doesn't happen easily, as some of you know. :)
And I haven't seen the updated and new stuff yet...hopefully soon!

*giggle* My laugh for the day, I presume? Thanks, thought I'd lost that!

*laughs harder* I just went to post and saw your subject line. That's a
cute way of doing it. :)
