Will a CALLed table know PRINTER NAME?

Actually, I didn't try it since I wanted to get going before I had an 
answer and I didn't want to take the time to try it.  Instead I declared 
a global variable and passed that from the called table.   But it did 
bring up a behavior that I wasn't expecting and which I would like to 
eliminate.  Whenever I execute a PRINTER NAME it generates a form feed.

Is there a way of avoiding this?
