I love Stargate too.

I partied with Don S. Davis (General Hammond) at Dragon*Con this summer in
Atlanta. I'm friends with a fan club there called Stargate Atlanta, who put on
several events and nightly room parties and Don and Eric Avari came to one of
the parties. I/We met several other cast members in other contexts throughout
the con too but not as informally as the party.

We met Tony Amendola at another con ealier that year too

Dragon*Con is not my usual type of con, in that it's all about media and not a
book reader to be found anywhere, and hardly any interesting panel discussions.
But it's fun as long as you decide to take it for what it is. A huge mass of sf
and fantasy fans, a huge costuming event, a huge list of tv/movie stars you get
to meet formally and informally, and more and better parties per capita than any
other con I can remember, and I recently discovered I go to about 10 a year.
