This won't help you, but it'll give an example of the power
of filePro.
Bob Snapp (with the help of Tom Pancero) once wrote a filePro
Address Matching/Address Correction program completely using
filePro. It was -better- than the USPS's own programs. His
passed all of the USPS tests for certification, and, in fact,
he pointed out to the USPS some errors in the tests they used
to certify such programs (his programs got the right answer,
where their's didn't).
The result was that NO filePro developers bought his program.
(I was privileged to use it as a beta test site, and found it
to be very useful - having standardized, correct addresses is
a definite help in preventing duplicate entries in databases
of customers, clients, mailing lists, etc.)
So Bob quit trying to develop for. and sell to, the filePro
community, and instead accepted an offer from the USPS to be
a consultant to/for them re Address Matching/Address Correction
software at the USPS facility in Memphis, TN.
Our loss, their gain.
