Who would use this as a word processor, some of my clients.
My hosiery account would be using the memo fields to write packing and
shipping instruction details for an order.
My textile brokers would us indenting for multiple shipping instruction.
The do this now in the fields supplied for shipping instructions.
My real estate account who wants to write a short letter to an account and
keep track of it.
John, I quite understand what you are suggesting and my suggestion would
allow you, the programmer, to set which key would function as the memo close
key. This would give the programmer the maximum flexibility as to how to
handle closing the memo window.
I think my approach would be easier to implement and not break any current
code. The only question is what should the default behavior TAB or ESC.
Richard
