	Subject: Field length changes.

I have a client with a DOS 4.5.07 system. The Cust # is defined as
7,* in the customer file. I need to expand the other files that use the cust
# from 6,* to 7,*

After I change the field length in all the files that use the cust #
is there any reformatting involved or does the system take care of that for
me?

There are several files that use that field as a key, so I realize
that I'll have to expand the key sort length and recreate the indexes. I'll
deal with print formatting issues if they arise. Most of the reports and
screens I have looked at have room for the extra character.

Am I missing anything that I should plan for prior to making this
change?

	Thanks

One other thing, - Rebuild all indexes that use this field.
