When we got home last night (30 degrees, about 2 inches of snow on
the ground, and still coming) Alex decided his room was "too hot"
(68 degrees) and turned on the air conditioner in his room!
We had a little talk with him on that one. And the air conditioner
is now unplugged. (The outlet is behind the dresser, and we didn't
think it would have been necessary to move the furniture around to
get to it. Apparently, we were mistaken.)
And, for those who are wondering why he has an air conditioner in his
room during the winter... it's a floor unit that sits in the corner
of the room, with an exhaust hose out the roof. It's not an in-the-
window type unit that we put away for the colder months.
