And is utterly useless for building most OSS code, the majority of which
requires an ANSI compiler--which OSR6 won't actually bootstrap with any
degree of moderate ease. It doesn't even help if you define
i386-pc-sco3.2v5.0.6 as a target, as it couldn't find the compiler
dependency model.
The SCO devsys is of limited use, at best, and probably isn't even worth
$99, except to get the system header files for when a gcc might actually be
released.

I spent about 15min looking at it just a bit ago and couldn't find one. If
it is, it's not installed by default, that's for sure. And the regular
ftpd they do install doesn't support SSL. Actually, the man page for ftpd
is a joke:
*****
Standards conformance
ftpd is not part of any currently supported standard. It is an
extension of AT&T UNIX System V provided by The Santa Cruz
Operation, Inc.
ftpd is conformant with:
RFC 959 (STD 9), RFC 1123
*****
Not a part of any currently supported standard (we know how non-standard
that ftp is...horribly undocumented, and very new!). And yet...they cite
not only one RFC, but two with which it's conformant.
Idiots.
