filepro will build the demand index containting the exact same records that
your rreport session selected.
the index sort key(s) will be the same as your report sort (on define
output format, overridable via sort command in processing). if no sort
is defined, it probably defaults to the tie-breaker on matching sort
key fields (which one would have if all had no sort!) which would be
record number. i'm guessing the latter happened to you based on the
index comment you got.
FWIW, I don't recall what it says if you build sort based on dummy fields
in sort processing. It *may* give a similar vagary.
