This is -Dell-, Richard. Anything is possible except decent support.
They're like Seagate drives, in my experience: If you get one to make it
to you and it's not DOA and lasts past 30 days, it'll last for years and
years. While they have less QA issues than I've encountered with Seagate,
when you -do- need support, it's a merry chase.
But it really depends on the class of machine ordered. And what was
requested, and if they do custom configs.
And from the Dell servers I just looked at, they tend to use ATI by
default, not NVidia. Just looked at two in the PowerEdge line and they're
both ATI-based. They likely use them by default, might stick in an NVidia
if one is requested.
I was going to make the point that the expense of a 3D card is really not
worth it for a business class server, but I see a Radeon in this PowerEdge.
Looks like possibly an integrated chipset based on the scant info I have in
the OS configs, rather than a special card--but it's still a Radeon (ATI).
Of course, if they're really integrated, then no, they likely wouldn't deal
in NVidia for at least the business servers I was looking at.
