You are correct that 4.0 did not have any "-fp" flag for
this situation.  You could "fake it" by creating a single
processing-only output format for any given filePro file,
and then use "-z" to override the processing that *report
will execute.

Of course, if by "100s of different files", you mean that
you need to run _from_ hundreds of different filePro files,
this isn't very efficient, as you need a prc-only output
format for every one of those files.
