XML EDI schema for release orders?

Can any of you suggest a fairly generic XML "release order" schema that
I could suggest to one of my customers who would like to begin accepting XML
format release orders from some of their customers?
They want me to read the incoming XML code and post it into their
existing filePro order entry system. Right now, their customers transmit a
.CSV spreadsheet that I import in a somewhat manual process, but as long as
we will be converting to XML and accepting transactions synchronously into
filePro, I thought it would be best to use one of the industry standard XML
schemas. I discusses schemas with THEIR customers, but they didn't have any
suggestions as far as standards.
I can probably dig up some XML standards that would work, but if any of
you have already written any code that will accept XML release orders and
post them into a fairly generic filePro order entry system, I would be
interested in hearing what you have done and possibly purchasing the code
from you. (No sense reinventing the wheel, and, of course, my customer
would be pleased if I could implement this quickly.)
Thanks!
