The recent changes in daylight savings time were a result of pressure
by the Greenies and Tree Huggers, enacted to lower electrical power
use - and therefore its generation.

I'd like to see us go back to the War Time of WW-II (daylight savings
time the year around).  That would save me the trouble of changing the
dozen clocks in my home or autos (that are not either radio controlled
or on computers) twice a year.

But then, what would remind me to change my smoke alarm batteries?
