Sure, your "friend" could walk by with a tape recorder. (Or just
grab your keyboard and type.) But this is (theoretically) a new
scenario.
Consider the way malicious software can be spread by things like
trojans, or security holes in browsers that allow "bad" HTML to
do things it shouldn't.
Next, consider a malicious website that plays "bad" audio files.
Perhaps a website which attempts to download an executable to
your system, and then plays an audio file which answers the
questions that the security warning popup would ask.
